The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles (SACC-LA) is a non-profit organization founded in 1988. It is one of 20 local chambers across the United States, cooperating under the umbrella of SACC-USA. SACC-USA was founded in 1906 in New York and is the oldest organization of its kind outside Sweden. SACC-LA connects people and enables innovative and creative exchange. The overall objective is to create business opportunities between Swedish and American companies and talent, and SACC-LA is in fact the only Swedish organization in Los Angeles with this purpose.

Los Angeles is “The Entertainment Capital of the World” which has resulted in a large amount of creative and innovative Swedish companies seeking business opportunities in Los Angeles. SACC-LA has therefore developed a business strategy and an event plan to add value for businesses within creative and innovative industries, such as film, games, fashion, music, advertising, and digital production.

Each year SACC-LA hosts a variety of events targeting different segments, with the common purpose of creating business opportunities for Swedish and American companies and strengthen Swedish-American relations.

SWEDISH CHURCH OF LOS ANGELES

For just over sixty years, the Swedish Church has existed in Los Angeles. We rent ourselves in the premises of the Norwegian Seamen's Church and you will find us near the harbor in San Pedro.

You are welcome to come to us to celebrate a Swedish service, meet the church staff, have coffee or just relax for a while in our cozy meeting room.

The goal of our activity is to make Jesus known. We are a place of safety and community, doubt and faith, joy and sorrow; a fixed point in the lives of both visitors and residents. www.churchofswedenla.com
